Kia Ora, My name is Leighton . This blog is about my life both as an amateur able-bodied and amputee athlete/sportsman living here in Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand. I hope you will enjoy the journey I am about to begin to ride. I definitely did. My sporting career was only 24 years duration. Although I was an amateur sportsman I did dream of being a professional. Your career or your profession becomes:  A professional sport/athlete and you earn a living from/out of it.
